Crowley Lake is known throughout the Western United States as being an redible fishery that produces large, beautiful trout that will give you the fight of your life! The lake offers some of the most exciting trout fishing in California in one of the most spectacular settings in the world. The amazingly prolific chironimid (midge fly) based food chain is what provides the redible growth rates and large, hard fighting fish that Crowley Lake is famous for.
Crowley Lake is 12 miles long and 5 miles wide at its widest point. The lake is a reservoir for storing the Eastern High Sierra snow and rain water. Although most famous for trout fishing, in recent years, Crowley Lake has seen growth in various other water sports, such as kayaking, water skiing, wake boarding, wake surfing, kite surfing, and stand up paddle boarding.
