About Us

Talbot Freeman & Associates, Inc. (TFA Yachts) was founded on simple principles and backed by over 28 years of yacht sales, yacht ownership, total yacht management, major yacht refit consultation, Marine Finance and Marine Insurance claim management, hands on yacht operational experience, and efficient yacht purchase and sale abilities accumulated by its founder and CEO, Talbot O. Freeman III. Originally based in Portland, Maine in 1987 Talbot moved his base operations to downtown Ft. Lauderdale Florida a.k.a. "Yachting Capital of the World" in 1992 and has been very active in the South Florida Yacht Sales arena ever since specializing in large quality built Motor Yachts and Convertible fisherman. Mr. Freeman comes from 150 years of New England boat building heritage and the famous "Morse" shipbuilding family of Bath, Maine. This family heritage included the building of many famous "Coastal Schooners" and largest Steamships of the era from Maine at the turn of the century
