About Us

Founded in 1958, Ram Point Marina, was the result of one couple, Bill and Marilyn Schmid, avid sailors, who wanted to be where their passion was...boats. Ram Point had very humble beginnings as a repair shop in the winter months. Today, it has boomed into a 200+ slip facility rated the "Best Marina in South County" according to The Narragansett Times Readers' Choice Awards in 2013, 2014, and 2015.
