About Us
As the commercial repair and modernization subsidiary of Vigor Industrial, Vigor Marine offers eight drydocks, more than 15,000 feet of pier space and tens of thousands of square feet of superior indoor facilities to serve vessels of nearly any size. Our multiple facilities and skilled, ready-to-deploy teams mean we make repairs and upgrades with minimum vessel-out-of-service time, where you need us, when you need us.
Vigor Marine make repairs and state-of-the-art environmental, efficiency, and safety improvements. We increase both the capacity and fuel efficiency of America’s fishing and cargo fleet. Bulbous bows, efficient sterns, repowers, and capacity-increasing midsections and sponsons are regular projects.
Our workforce brings superior knowledge of multiple regulatory classification societies including ABS, DNV, and Lloyds, and hold Master Ship Repair Agreements (MSRA) and Agreements for Boat Repair (ABR) with the U.S. Navy. Our teams also bring extensive experience with arctic class vessels, from double plated barges to specialty drill rigs and U.S. Coast Guard icebreakers.
