Brief History Englishman Cliff Hunt started selling secondhand marine parts from his hatchback in 1975. Over the next few years Sailorman grew from a garage to a small hole-in-the-wall to its current location, an over 10,000 square foot warehouse, in 1982. The current owner, Chuck Fitzgerald, purchased Sailorman in 1985.
