About Us

For over 50 years "Becks Lake", really a large deep bayou of the Escambia River, has been the favorite place for most area fresh water anglers! Becks Lake is declared by many for over 50 years to be the best fishing spot in Northwest Florida. Bank fishing has been good as well as by boat. Even if the Century gauge is low, we may not be, and the same goes for high water. The water levels in the lower river don't fluctuate like the upper River. We're closer to Escambia Bay and get some tidal action but we're still fresh water and old timers tell us we're in the BEST part
